Podcast on Serbian Orthodox Church with Karin Hofmeisterová

RCMS member Karin Hofmeistrová was recently a guest on the Hej Slované podcast. Together with host Jakub Novosad, they discussed the role of the Orthodox Church in Serbia, its links to political structures, especially the regime of Aleksandar Vučić, and its historical role in shaping Serbian identity. The interview covers the period from the establishment of the position of Orthodoxy in the Ottoman Empire, through its significant strengthening after 2000, to the current situation during the ongoing Russian war in Ukraine.
